Six and a half years today.
Six and a half years of blood, sweat and tears, literally.
I have met tons of people who I can go to for anything. Countless lows, highs, and sleepless nights. There are so many people to thank, but one person who has always been by my side. My mom.
Thank you for everything. Sticking by me when I was scared. I know that is kind of your job as a mom, but you are not like any other mom I have met. You want to take my pain away even though you know you can’t but you try to help me in any way you can. Thank you.
Six and half years…
Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive through the years and especially since I started sharing my journey. It means so much. ❤
Meghan- I am honored and so taken back by this. I love you and Paul so much and would do ANYTHING to take away diabetes from you and place it in my own body. I told you from that start that I would always be there for you-in the good and bad times-the highs and lows, the burnouts the long trips to the city to get you the best care I could find. We would take this journey together. As you get older, I know you will be on your own but know that I am always with in reach. I am so proud of who you are- you are a responsible young lady who is a great role model for others. I am proud to say you are my daughter.
